Elvin's History
When I started this business back in 1982, this was not my first business.  I had already owned two unrelated businesses.  I always had a burning desire to make the heating and cooling business work.  Starting out of my home with one truck, a tool box, and the help of my wife Gayla doing the billing and bookkeeping, I started Elvin's Refrigeration, Inc.  After my son graduated from High School in 1984 he joined us by starting out as a helper and is now Chief of Operations.  We hired Jerri Wright (Greg's wife) to be our front office secretary in 1987.  We've moved several times and with each move we've gained more of much needed square footage.  We are now located in a 5600 square foot building with four offices, a training room, and a large warehouse.  We also have room to grow if need be.

Business is doing very well and growing rapidly.  In January 2003 we had the opportunity to purchase a well established heating and cooling company called Company One, Inc. located in Raytown, MO.  This company was owned by John Kroenke.  Along with the purchase of his company we had the pleasure of hiring John as our fulltime Salesman.
