The Home Depot

In September of 2002, Trane and Home Deport joined forces. Trane, working through their dealership network, displays heating and cooling equipment at The Home Depot stores to generate "at home appointments for free estimates on heating, ventilation and air condition equipment," that is sold and installed by the Trane dealer who is assigned to that store.

When this started in 2002, there were 18 Trane dealers who were vying for stores to work at here in the metro area. In March of 2003, Trane and Home Depot culled all the dealers down to three contractors city wide. Elvin's was selected as one of those contractors.

Elvin's was given three Home Depot stores:
Belton, MO
Midtown KCMO
South KCMO (Bannister Rd.)

This has been an excellent source for appointments and has increased our residential sales by 100%.
